If you do choose to buy, let me tell you, you are going to have a lot of fun with it and it's surprisingly durable.

Also, when the low battery light starts flashing, you only have around 20 seconds to bring it back. Be sure to calibrate the quadcopter and remember to have a camera in the gimbal before you turn it on. I would fully recommend this to beginners due to it's stability and it's features. This quadcopter was really fun and easy to fly and very inexpensive for what it includes.
#Mars quadcopter software
The quad also come with a CD, which I believe includes a manual, and some software used to change the parameters on the quadcopter and the gimbal. The propellers included is the DJI style 9050 self-tightning ones, so they are easy to replace, but I found that they were very durable even after I crashed the quad into concrete. Unfortunately, there is no option to set GPS waypoints, but you can use the GPS to hold position, which I found was pretty accurate.

It' s really nice that this quadcopter comes with a GPS. It has the possibility to charge a 1S up to 4S LiPo with 1A, 2A, or 3A of charge rate. The battery and the battery bay is my favourite aspect of the quadcopter simply because it slides in without an issue and the battery does not move in flight. The battery slides into the quadcopter battery way very well and has no issues whatsoever. The battery and the battery bay is my favourite aspect of the quadcopter. The battery included is a huge 5400mah 3s lipo. It has 7 channels and I didn't find an issue with it so far. The gimbals feel okay and the transmitter only needs 4 AA batteries which is a really nice feature. The transmitter is a very basic transmitter with no bells and whistles, but it does its job. The gimbal parameters, I believe, can be changed using a computer.

Be sure to put a camera in the gimbal before plugging it in, or unplug the gimbal. The gimbal automatically calibrates every time the quadcopter gets plugged into the battery. The gimbal is a basic 2 axis gimbal and both its axes can be controlled via 2 servo ports, but since only one channel is available, only one axis can be controlled. I absolutely loved the fact that this quadcopter came with a gimbal at this price. The ESCs are all unmarked and they are inside the quadcopter body. Motor (Brushless 2212 980KV Self-Locking Counter-Clockwise Rotation) Motor (Brushless 2212 980KV Self-Locking Clockwise Rotation) No specs were provided, but I looked around and found this information: The motors are unmarked 2212 motor that look similar to the DJI ones. The quad comes with mostly hex hardware and a few Phillips screws, and none of them have come out so far, so it was assembled well. The rear LEDs help with orientation, especially when flying at night, and the middle LED indicates the status of the quadcopter. The receiver, the controller board and the ESCs also come pre-plugged and is ready to go with a few calibrations for the compass. The motors, the ESCs, and the power distribution board come wired together out of the box. The quadcopter itself is quite nice with a good plastic body and LEDs for orientation and indication of status.

Although it was slightly hard to get the quadcopter out of the foam, the foam helped protect the quad very well. The cardboard and foam together help prevent any damage caused by shipping. The quadcopter and the accessories were inside a block of foam which I believe was of good quality. The IdeaFly Mars 350 quadcopter came very well packaged in a while cardboard box.
